Happy Easter to all of you, that celebrate. What is your favorite Easter memory? Mine was finding my Easter basket, that was hidden.
This wonderful Bonfire tradition is carried on in the memory of our very own Q-Angel, Mary (tillietoiler) Merrey. She started the bonfire as a place to get together and toss away your unsmoked cigarettes and anything else that may be bothering you. As Mary became too weak to host, the BBBs (Bonfire Brigade Babes & Bros.) took over tending Mary’s fire. Feel free to wander around Q Island. The Tiki Bar is always hopping later on. There is an amazing buffet available for your enjoyment: shrimp, lobster, prime rib, steak, roast chicken and turkey, ham, even some eggplant parmigiana and all the sides! The All Things Chocolate buffet is a favorite too. Enjoy! Everything is calorie free here on Q Island.
For those who prefer a quieter evening, there are plenty of loungers set out on the beach. That's where the dolphins love to play. Sometimes they get very excited and splash quite close to the edge of the beach; so don't be surprised if you get a bit wet! Towels are in the big hamper by the hammocks.
Newbies and everyone else, shout out your anniversaries and any milestones you may be celebrating. I love to celebrate those important days. And remember, it's because of each of you that we are here!
