How many of you know what H.A.L.T. is?

It's one of the biggest dangers to a quit there is...

H – Hungry A – Angry L – Lonely T – Tired

If you're having what you think is a craving, think about these things and odds are, you're not craving, you're one of them.

They can masquerade as a craving, and our inner junkie takes full advantage of it. And, people... it doesn't matter HOW long you've been quit, you're still susceptible.

H.A.L.T. can come up and kick your butt at any time.

Yesterday... I really thought I wanted to smoke. Hit me by surprise, after a year...

Well you know what? I really DIDN'T want to smoke. I was HUNGRY. I was ANGRY. And, I was TIRED.

Once I realized what was going on, I could deal with it and POOF - no more "craving".

What's my point?

We all have to keep our guard up, no matter WHERE we are in our quits.

We're all susceptible to junkie thinking, and we're all only a puff away from a pack a day.

So - hang in there, remember H.A.L.T., and just DO NOT SMOKE… not one puff ever. :)      Hugs techy
