Hello, all! The past couple of days have been busy ones for me.  I'm just going to say that on Thursday nights I'm probably not going to be able to do the Mildred post. I have a standing date with a friend on Thursday nights, and I don't usually get home until late. Last night was, of course, Valentine's Day, and I wasn't going to interrupt my evening out to put the post up. I'm sure you all will understand.

Did anyone go out for a nice V-Day dinner last night? I had what I would consider to be a perfect meal--coconut shrimp, roasted garlic and rosemary red potatoes, fresh green beans, and a red velvet cupcake with cream cheese frosting for dessert. (Yes, I ate both gluten and dairy last night. I indulge on very special occasions. It doesn't make me sick to my stomach like it does some people.) I also had the best glass of house wine I've ever tasted. I was shocked at the quality (and quantity!) I got for $4.50! (Wine lovers will know just how cheap that is!)

Tonight, unfortunately, will not live up to last night's feast. But I'm looking forward to ham salad sandwiches on gluten-free bread with a side of potato salad. No dessert, as I'm trying to stop eating sweets so often. There are simply too many gluten-free/dairy-free goodies out there! I have to stop! ;)

What are you having for dinner now that you don't smoke?
