I smoked for 40 years primarily because I didn’t think I could quit, I had a couple of half-ass quits early in my smoking career, but “I think I’ll have just one” ended those quits.

Thank you for sharing and thank you for leading the way for us, relatively new quitters. Reading elders profiles helped me survive and I still enjoy reading quit profiles.

CJ A The first couple of years I was quit, I would go to the anniversaries page to find those with the longest quits and read their profiles. It was a great way to learn and to keep me motivated.

I agree with you CJA - the Elders , such as BP Are an Absolute Inspiration to us newbies! You know, if it weren't for you I would have curled up in a ball on the floor in the corner and would have smoked my way out of Whatever. ?Appreciate You!!!
